Dr. Goffe Expands His Knowledge at NUCCA Conference

Recently, Dr. Goffe attended the NUCCA Fall 2018 conference in Bloomington, Minnesota; he’s been going to National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association seminars for 29 years. The meeting gave him an opportunity to develop skills in upper cervical chiropractic care. “The NUCCA conference is unique in that new research, updated protocols & procedures and hands-on learning are incorporated through the weekend,” he said.

Dr. Goffe appreciates the fact that NUCCA has strong leadership in the form of chiropractors who have been teaching students and doctors for more than 50 years. “I enjoyed learning about the details of the various new practices in the works and advances in upper cervical chiropractic care that are being made now,” he added.

Strengthening Relationships & Forging New Connections

At the conference, Dr. Goffe had an opportunity to connect with Dr. Robert Brooks, one of his mentors of over 30 years. One of Dr. Goffe’s students, Rhonda Haines-Pruitt, a student at Life University, also attended.

In addition to catching up with Dr. Brooks and Rhonda, Dr. Goffe enjoyed getting to connect with other doctors from all over the world who are seeking to hone their skills to improve patient care.

Research Related to Cone Beam CT

Some of NUCCA’s latest research centers on Cone Beam Computed Tomography. “We spent time looking at how this computerized tomography of the upper cervical area can give us improved insights on how to correct the subluxation and enhance patient care,” said Dr. Goffe.
